SUMMER CAMP: WOODWARD WEST

Words, Photos, and Video: By Isaac Patterson

It was that time again, summer time. The decision had been finalized, and the 231 mile trip was lurking in the near weeks to come. My family had decided to send me away for a week. To a little place known as heaven to anyone in the Action Sports industry, and as “Woodward West” to the average person. Since I was going as a Digital Media camper focusing specifically on Video Production, my time at camp would be a little more structured then the average kid attending this paradise. My days and nights would be filled with filming, editing, and of course skating. Every person at camp for Video Production was required to display what they captured, in some way, shape, or form. The last full day at camp was hyped up with the most nerve, the videos created by the Digital Media campers were set to be displayed. The camp theater was filled with anxious viewers, hoping to catch a glimpse of themselves on the big screen...
My final video is displayed below, as well as some photos I took while at camp, that were not posted to my instagram.
